Beatiful Tanzanian originated song sung in Kiswahiri.

I believe most of the people have heard the song. First tme I heard this song was a charity in Shizuoka. I was a student and was belong to a student group which supports children rooted from outside of Japan.

The charity was organized by Shizuoka city social welfare association to fundraise social activities in the city. There was a NGO called one love project.

They collaorated with a singing group of Shizuoka to perform the song.

I never imagined that I would work in any of the African countries at that time, but I remember that I was so impressed the song, and really liked it.

Or, I 've herd the song before,..at the high school time...

It is prety famous song and I am hearing it in Ghana. The sense of the music is quit different from Japan or Western countries in Ghana. Wherevever you go, you will hear the western music hardly, but Ghanaians.

He sung it in 1987 in Zimbabue. The time ,people in South Africa were suffering the Aparthoheito, he sung it for the freedom.

There was a Ghanainan Drammer in the group. Ghana is quit famous for the good musicians in Africa.

Should I be more interested in the musics?
I am too far from music hobbies.

Since then

It's been some time blank since I posted to the blog last.

It is almost 2 years, I haven't posted any here. Feeling very lazy, not like writing any here.
I again feel like to writing something  here for the purpose of using English.I work in Ghana and using English everyday but there is not many opportunity to output something in English.(It is very a Japanese environment.)
  

Actually, I finished the JOCV(Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteer) in March 2014.
 I remember that I had been engaged in the last minutes impatience for the last time of being a volunteer.

However, as I planed during the final term of the JOCV , I made it to be real to come back to Ghana for my Master Thesis study in June to September in 2014.

Schooling decisions of Muslims  -a case study of students in Tamale Northern Ghana- is the title of my work, and I  spent almost 3 months in Tamale  at my best Ghanaian friend house.

He is a teacher in Tamale, and allowed me staying in his house for free, and had offered me free motor transportation to field, free interpretation. With his huge support, I completed my M.A.Thesis successfully and graduated the University in March 2015.

Had been a student and at the same time I was a husband and a father since middle of the 2014.
Married in August, welcome a new life in December.

I think I was the most happiest man in the world in 2014 to 2015. I succeeded to get job, wife,baby,diploma, driving licence.

After the graduation, I start working with embassy in Ghana, so now, I am here in Ghana again(Since 2012, I am here with different positions).

Do I love Ghana so much?
The motherland supports me quite a lot. I appreciate all the opportunity I could get from Ghana.

 I love Ghana, and am very content to be here.
Yet to be consider  about new career with my dearest family,  maybe I will need to get more stimulus environment to polish my skills and experience.
Additionally, my wife is tired of Africa since she had been in Africa for quite a long time.

Current my interest is about studying Spanish and French.
Though, I realised that my English output ability is awful and I am tasking me to output any daily thing of thoughts in blog in English from Today.

メリークリスマス！

皆さんが、幸せな時間を過ごしていますように。

今年は、タマレの隊員仲間たちと楽しくパーティをして過ごしますよ。

そして、今年も残す所あと僅か。

２０１３年はみなさんにとってはどうでしたか？

振り返って、自分のfacebookの投稿を一年分みてみました。

総括して、とにかくいえるのは、楽しく過ごす事が出来たっていうこと。

ガーナでの活動は、好不調の波は激しくありますが、全体的にいろいろと僕なりにチャレンジしてきていると思います。ほんとに些細な事に喜びを見いだしたり、小さな一歩を踏み出したりの積み重ねです。

余暇が昨年よりも充実していた年でもあります。ガーナ人、外国人なども含め友人が増えたのも収穫です。いろいろな場所にも行けたし、たくさんの飲み会、パーティにはなるべく顔を出すようにしました。やっぱり人との出会いって素晴らしい。いつもそばにいて楽しい時間を提供してくれる友人、距離は離れていても僕の事を応援してくれる友人や家族、連絡は長い事してないけど僕の事を覚えていてくれている方々のおかげで今の自分がある。ありがとうございます。

付け加えるなら、今年は「生きて帰る」ことの大事さをおもい知る年でもありました。アクラでの強盗未遂事件では銃を突きつけられ、タマレではひったくりにあい、多くの方にご迷惑をおかけしました。深く反省。。。一歩間違えれば、もしこれがケニアとか東アフリカであったら、死んでいてもおかしくなかっただろう。こんな風に考えると、無事に帰って、みなさんに再会するのが一番大事だっておもうのです。いつ、なにがあってもおかしくないのだから気を引き締めます。

と、ちょっとトーンが暗くなりかけましたが、基本、来年も楽しく過ごしていきますよ！注意するところは注意して、楽しむところはたくさん楽しむ！このスタンスでいきます。一人では楽しめないので、みなさん、ちょっと早いですが来年もよろしくおねがいします。

ファイヤーフェスティバル

お久しぶりです。
いろいろ書き残しておきたくても、残せていない事がたくさんありますが、書く事で自分の足跡を残すのは大事だと立ち返って、再びここに参上です。

なんかいろいろな人との交流で、余暇も充実して過ごせており、こうやって静かな土曜日の夜を家で一人過ごすのも久々な感じがします。

ありがたいことで。

自分はそんなにparty -likeの人間ではないので、今まで、勇気を出して外国人の集まりにいってみたりしてきたのだと思う。もともと外国人との関わりにそんなに抵抗はないし、楽しめる体質ではあるが、常に緊張感があるのも事実。まだまだ修行が足りませぬ。ガーナ人といるのは、かなり楽なんですがね。

ファイヤーフェスティバルというのは、ガーナの北部で行なわれる伝統的な祭りです。
キリスト教やイスラム教などの宗教的な者ではなく、チーフと呼ばれるコミュニティの長の祭りです。

北部はこのチーフの権限が強い。

ま、このフェスティバルで何をするのかと言えば、タイマツに火をともし、みんなで踊りながら行進する。カットラスと呼ばれる、カマを掲げ、銃を空に向かって打つ。花火も鳴り響く。騒がしい、そしてなんともアフリカ人のパワーを感じられる祭りです。

『ムスリムだけど、クリスチャン系の学校（公立）に通う子が本当に多いか？』

●任地にあるガーナ高校（公立）で、生徒にアンケートを実施しました。

ざっくり結果発表。

ガーナ高校はガーナでも上位に入る進学校です。
現大統領のジョン・マハマも卒業した程の学校です。

今回のアンケートの内容は、生徒の出身校（小中）を尋ねたもので、クリスチャン系の学校、アラビックスクール出身者の比率をみてみました。

まず、調査させてもらった１年生、計１７４人のうち、１２２名の生徒はイスラム教を信仰していました。

クリスチャン　　　５１人（約３０％）
伝統宗教　　　　　　1人
不明　　　　　　　　１人

総数：１７４人

ガーナ高校は、タマレにあるだけあって、やっぱりムスリムが多いということですね。これは、タマレ市におけるクリスチャンとムスリムの割合に近いのではなかろうか。

その生徒たちから、出身校選択における傾向をみてみました。

『ムスリムだけど、クリスチャン系の学校（公立）に通う子が本当に多いか』という疑問の答え探るためです。

結果。..

でした。

ムスリム生徒でクリスチャン系の学校に通った生徒は思ったよりも多くなかった。アラビックスクールの出身でも、ガーナ高校に進学した生徒もそこそこいる。しかし、クリスチャン系の学校に通うのが選択肢としてあるのは確か。アラビックスクールの環境は、教育省で問題扱いをされているが、高校の結果でみればそうでもないのかな？

クリスチャンでアラビックスクールに通った子が１人いたのは、驚きでした。もっとこのこの話聞きたい。。

We had a special day here in Ghana also(even though Ghana is not known as an Islamic country)l!
Tamale muslim people celebrated this special day after a month of fasting. I saw many children dressed nicely and walking around! 

Today was a national holiday. How did I spend?

I was invited by a Philippine friend to have a Lunch and Karaoke !

We enjoyed the delicious meals and Karaoke moods!

「カルム」


朝はクリスチャン系の学校に、午後と週末はアラビックスクールに通う子どもたちです。

英語を学び、将来への可能性を広げるためにクリスチャン系の学校は、好まれます。
クリスチャンの家庭は、アラビックスクールに子どもをおくりません。

しかし、ムスリムの家庭は、クリスチャン系の学校に子どもを送る選択をしているケースが少なくありません。



＜なぜか？？＞

どうやら、このカルムがあるおかげで、ムスリムの子たちはアラビア語、イスラム教のマナーを身につけれるのです。ムスリムの親は選択肢を広げることができます。

学校教科、英語はクリスチャン系学校で、アラビア語、コーランはアラビックスクールで、と使い分け。合理的でしょう？

なので、朝は学校教科や英語を学び、午後、週末はアラビックという選択が出来るようです。

ノーザン州だけなのか？南にもあるのか？どれくらいお金を払っているのか？などなど。まだまだリサーチの必要がありそうです。
